IV-XX Networks is a collection of projects across the spectrum from Web Hosting & Design Companies to Independant Music Communities, to a vast variety of services like IRC from us. The concept of IV-XX is to build and integrate the communities of all of their associated projects as well as combining resources. They wanted to enable these resources so that people can utilize the physical resources as well as the skills of the talented community at large, this would enable people to efficiently start up and build their own sites and projects by concentrating on what they do best. It is a simple formula of "keeping your aces in their places." Why would someone try to build a website for a game server if they have almost no HTML knowledge? IV-XX Networks would enable the game server with hosting, a design team, an IRC channel for the game community, and as many other resources they can provide so that the people who run the game server do what they do best, manage the game server.

So what does this mean for TuX-IRC, you ask? Well through IV-XX we have been enabled to get TuX-IRC back up and running in a more appropriate capacity, we can manage more people, servers, and all aspects of IRC. IV-XX was able to sort out our hosting, build this wonderful site, manage email, and a new dedicated server for IRC, and all the jazz needed outside of IRC but not directly related to our servers. In return for this we have become the backbone for IV-XX Netwroks communication. We host channels for all of their projects, manage eggdrop bots, and accomidate getting new users into IRC from all of the IV-XX Projects. This has also worked back in our favor we have aquired new and unique communities for our IRC network, we have Web Radio stations, game servers, programming communities, cooking chatrooms, and a diverse range of music projects and users on our IRC network. As more people become familiar with IV-XX they will in turn be aquainted with TuX-IRC and be able to mingle with the growing population.
